I was stung in the calf on my first 5.10a sport lead. I was Elvis legging so bad that I didn't feel it (or notice it) until a few minutes after I was back on the ground, though I remembered the bee hanging around me during the crux. Damned bee, can't you see I'm sketching out here? Meg

In reply to: I've never had a bee sting that was any worse than pain from climbing. Am I missing something? :? I've never cared about bees much at all, though I see many people who are deathly afraid of them. Been stung lots of times, and it's just another bug bite. Is this just cause I'm used to Alaskan mosquitos? Some people react differently form others. If I get stung, it's like a sore mosquito bite kinda thing. If my brother gets stung, The entire area swells up real bad. Tunred his hand the size of a football kinda swelling. If my aunt gets stung by a bee, she dies. Same thing with mosquitoes...I knew a girl who had never once had a mosquito "bite". She jsut had no allergy what so ever and never swelled, never itched, nothin. Color me jealous :x

Color me jealous :x I'm almost like that, i used to get stung heaps when i was little and i heard that mosquitos are attracted to you more when you eat bananas, gullible little kid i was i stopped eating em... funny thing was it worked, i have mossies land on me stick their little tuby thing in, sit there for like 2 seconds then just fly away. Pisses my mates off thats for sure. I so want to get bitten by a lady bug just for the story i mean, they're so cute :P then again I've been bitten by a snail, i mean how slow am i to get attacked by a snail :P (leaves this little red ring of teeth and stings like all buggery :?) Oh and the great white thing, thats guts dude, i wouldve just climbed down to the last piece of pro and frozen til he left me alone
