I'm 57 and headed for the Ruth Glacier with AAI in early May. They'll probably hurt me bad, but I'll be seeing the Alaska Range.

50 this year and climbing for 32 years straight with a few blips in the Army - kids etc in between. Your statement about "trad" though, I would say that the best climbing is when you are actually out climbing (bolts, aid, cracks it doesnt matter)and the weather and your friends are rocking.
