In college I helped a friend of mine launch water balloons, eggs and left over hot dogs (uncooked) at a Frat party full of drunken, randomly moving targets using a three-man slingshot. We had a pretty high hit percentage, and we were shooting open-sights. Does that count?

All of my friends tell me I need to stop sports things that involve breaking bones but I tend to think I'd get hurt in a jump house or ball crawl so...

I sort of climb rocks, I ride a lot of road miles, a started mtb riding and broke my leg Thursday night, I used to road race motorcycles (properly, at the track) but broke lots of bones and acquired much debt and I used to race around in cars but that was kind of expensive, too. So, aside from paying for my doctor's vacation and feeding money to tire and oil companies, I'm just like everyone else.

Skydiving was very cool, but too expensive to pursue as a regular hobby.

Anyone who bagged on iclimblilrocks is wrong. Mom jokes are funny specifically because they're so blatantly stupid and immature...like your Mom.

Well I don't really consider anything I do "Extreme", but the chix do so that's why I do it(I'll note ahead of time that if you think I'm serious you should practice kicking your own ass before I get there :D  )

But I:
Skydive, Cliffdive(into water), climbing, smoke cigarettes, used to do an ungodly amount of drugs, and jump off my friends house into his above ground swimming pool or off his house onto trampoline and into pool.

There are a few more activites I don't deem worthy of this list but there is the gist of it. And if you think that last one isn't "EXTREME!!!!!", my friend literaly broke his neck doing it last week. Now I have lost my craziest, best friend to all of the other extremem things we might have done.

Justin (friend who broke neck)-"You think I can do a flip from off my house into the pool?"
Me-"Hell yeah! Go for it pussy."

ya'll are clueless. The sooner you realize that xlimbing is not an extreme (whatever the fukk extreme means) sport, the sooner you can progress in your own climbing.

"Climbing is not and never will be an 'x-treme' sport. It's too calculated, too natural, with no gratuitous stunts, not enough blood, and altogether too much class." --Jeff Achey, from Climbing 230.

But, hypothetically speaking I climbed with vaseline on my hands and bad pro. And I was naked. And I had a snapping turtle "fixed" to my johnson. Would climbing be extreme then?

so if it is calculated then it can not be extreme. if that is the case then not even evil kenevil (spelling?) was extreme because all his stunts were VERY calculated even the ones that went wrong.

by your defination I would like to hear what is an extreme sport.

by following your defination:
it must be uncalculated, unnatural, posses gratuitous stunts, bloody, and unclassy.

I dont think anyone thinks of that combination when they hear extreme sport.

Sometimes I eat those pretzels that the guys sell off the side of the road. That's pretty extreme, right? Or is that hardcore?

Great, now I'm confusing myself....

Due to marketing futures, all "extreme" sports are now to be referred to as "action" sports. thank you.

I climb, skydive, father 4 kids, and I am a scoutmaster. Yes I am extreme. If you think skydiving is boring you should try swooping.
