Well, maybe that'll be okay. But you can't have him at night. He still shares a tent with me, got it?

I also agree with the site across the street. Not only will it be closer, but the hosts and the new eats across the street (can't remember their name) will be happy for the business.

Is everyone agreeable with the date Pharmboy suggested, 6/27-6/29? I'd like to nail this down before creating an Events and Happenings post.

Gonna be a great time this year!

I'm with c4c, the weekend before would be stellar. I plan on quiting my job that weekend, so it's perfect. Then I can come home and drive west. Suitable going away party for sure.

Is that father's day weekend? Is that okay with all you dads out there?

That's also our wedding anniversary weekend, but we spend that time climbing anyhoo.

Tiff, Fathers day is the 15th according to my calendar. Even so I couldn't think of a better gift than to let dad go climbing! (or a better way to celebrate my anniversary)

I know. But you are worth every drop of that six pack of Old Milwaukee!

I'm good for the w/e of 6/20-6/22. Set up a new post under Events Al.

I agree with you on the wedding anniversary celebration. This will be our 4th year married and our 3rd year spending our anniversary with all you guys. We have a blast every year!

Father's day is a little rougher time for us because Dakotah has not been converted to climber dirtbag status like the rest of her family! All in due time.

Oh, indeed, I am planning on that! I am having old lady back problems right now, so hopefully by mid-June I'll be capable!

We have two dates on the table. The weekend of the 14th/15th and the weekend of the 21st/22nd ...

Gotta choose which one ... do I have to set up a poll? Unsure

Please please please, the 21/22. I didn't realize the weekend before was on the table. I thought it was between 21/22 and the 28/29. If we make it the 21/22 I'll bring cake. Everyone loves cake.

I think me and Josh would prefer the 20/21. Dakotah likes to spend father's day with her Dad, NOT doing climbing related things.

Hey all, long time no see.
Another Rumney gathering that I'm going to miss. However, we're expecting our first baby around that time, so all is not lost. Smile

I should point out, for all you francophobes (hi Jake!), that the weekend of June 21-22 is also the weekend of Quebec's "national" holiday, so the area will be packed by a bunch of obnoxious québécois who climb harder than you.

Dude, some of those obnoxious quebecois are quite pleasing to look at!

I vote for the 21/22nd.

So, it looks like the weekend of the 20/22. Now, who is in charge of getting a place to stay? Did I read where Tiff is sending the information to Rich and Rich was making the contact? Rich ...... ?

Todd i don't think it's that hard to get on Vadar..(speaking of which i wanna TR Darth Vadar .8 sometime) think of it this way.. most people get up late.. and go home early. They also swarm the meadows and parking lot early. however.. a quick jaunt up to Upper vadar. .4, .6, .7, .8 warm ups.. drop down to lower.. Obi Won and Yoda ready to go. jog across to Bonsai and watch Al send the crap out of Peer Pressure and swing wildly on Social O ;) There is also headlamp climbing.. which. is super fun.

most weekends should be good for me.. might not get to extend passed like i usually do but we'll see what kinda vacation days i can get at work

Is there anyone looking at the Main Wall? I know there may be closure due to the Falcons, but last year, they stayed on higher grounds.

Jake ... since you'll have your stick, wanna try Jedi Mind Tricks? 12b ... short little jaunt and a nice overhang to finish? I know ... can't hit a good 11 and I'm looking on punishing myself on this?
