Tomatoes, herbs, and peppers you actually save money on; not sure about those others.

Fun weekend, but the first markedly BAD weather conditions trip; humid, smarmy, and condensation. Team clamhat made good progress on the prodges, but I'm getting really sick of taking runs on the same route every trip. Got to within one move of the end of difficulties on Pod, and Dribble easily one-hung Apollo. Was nice to make highpoints even with terrible humidity. Lena, you down for climbzing this weekend?

It's a simple recipe really. Step 1 - get in your car and drive to the farmer's market. Step 2 - buy said delicious scone from may favorite bakery stand there. Step 3 - Drive home, make a pot of coffee and enjoy scone.

Yeah, right! You are just getting multi-dimentional injuries... We prefer to call them non-conforming activities. And much like hiking the boy scout trail without crampons, they often lead to pain and suffering.

Tomatoes, herbs, and peppers you actually save money on; not sure about those others. Considering how well my spinach usually does you're probably right. I can get 8 lettuce starts for $3, which I figure will yield more than a head at the grocery store (picking outter leaves). Hard to find it for less than $1 a head from the store. Sometimes I wonder about the peppers. If you buy them at the end of the season you can get some great deals at the farmer's market, but it's hit and miss what varieties you'll get. Eggplant is a great cost saver, tomatoes pretty good too, and nothing beets a fresh cucumber (IMO). I have given up on beets, and the one time I tried broccoli it wasn't worth the space it took. First year for potato so we'll see how that goes.

Decent weekend. Missed the lady's crag day in favour of cleaning up my garden and hanging out with Nathan. He also got a gife card for a steak place in town so we treated ourselves to a $100 steak dinner (it was awesome). Got trashed climbing yesterday. Power seems better, but endurence is weak. Not too upset by it this early in the season. Took the cat back North with me. Epic battle to try to feed him gravol so he wouldn't be sick in the car (recomended by our vet). We never did get it down his throat. Got back at midnight last night, cat wakes me up at 5:30 this morning. Will introduce him to the dogs this afternoon when I get home.

I am down for climzing this weekend for sure. But as usual, no details yet on carpooling, etc. Jeff has this weekend open for climbing, but nothing definite yet. You guys are set on the New for sure? I am most apprehensive about sucking on dribble's project and bursting into tears of frustration. Last time at the new was such a downer, and it has been a crazy up/down ride since then, though the net effect is very much down, I am afraid.

Good times in the valley up here. I am sorry I couldn't make the Art thing in New Jack, but I couldn't face the big drive alone for a short weekend. I had a ride with friends and a site, so we were off. Day at Reeds and a day at the Cookie. Did Chingando, one of the best OWs I have done. Tried to lead Catchy Corner yesterday in sunny and hot conditions and melted out of the crux for a hang, damn. Great weekend though, feeling pretty tired.
