It's not really a subsidy if it's a loan. . .

I'm an entrepreneur. Lately, my business is companion animal care. Sometimes the companion animals companions need more care than they do! Two assistants help out with the work, which allows me a decent amount of freedom.

I have a few other things I do, too and used to be a fashion accessories designer for 12 years. Started at the bottom, worked up to the top. Thank god those days are over; I don't do well being under someone else's direction. But, doing that work did teach me a lot about business and I use those skills all the time.

I would rather have that than my full time job (as crapic designer). My "lucrative" photography work is only freelance outside my full time job. Not enough to satisfy.

God Bless the USCG!

On 1 OCT 1974, the Hamilton (WHEC-715) received 8 dripping wet, cold staff and students of the Jacksonville Marine Institute on the helipad. We were spotted by a fixed wing plane and picked up by helicopter in a single run. A crewman said that they were so low on fuel that they could handle all of us at once. We went directly to the Hamilton and landed with the fuel light on.

The entire rescue was handled professionally by all, and at great risk by some. I regret that I cannot locate the information on the two aircraft, but I have it somewhere.

Nothing to do with rock climbing, but any time I can thank another member of the USCG, I will.
