If most people aren't coming until Friday night / Saturday morning then I guess Saturday would be best for the cookout, I'd hate for people to have to miss it. Too bad we couldn't kick off the weekend with a party, though. It would be nice for people to get a chance to meet everyone before climbing with them.

Geez, good thing I found this thread--I just discovered that Jul is planning a big he-haw over Columbus Day weekend and we're having 25 guests. Huh. Well, okay.
We can try to have a get together at our camp one of the nights, but there are to be absolutely NO BLUE TOENAILS. In keeping with the fall foliage thing, only reds, oranges or yellows will be permitted. And to reiterate for those camping, bring your longies! (Grant--In this neck of the woods "toque" means something bad and there will be none of that either.)

For the record I put my touque on my head and it'll be Thanksgiving when I arrive not so fresh from Canada.
The blue could represent the oh so cold evenings but that is up for negotiating, thank goodness leaves don't turn pink
Is anyone interested in a short trip to Nova Scotia afterwards for FRESH fish and chips and a little bouldering on the beach?

Diego and I are looking forward to this trip, I just have one question; Is the painted toes thing restricted to just the guys? I haven't heard too many girls talking about it? I would love my nails to be a nice managerie of fall colors. He He! This is going to be an awesome vacation. GIRL POWER!

between all of us climber im sure we can tie him up with a few good knot that he wont be able to get out of....we need to do it the right way also so he cant move around all that much nothing worse then a crappy nail job...Don what would your boys back home say if you came home with a bad nail job
