Sorry man.. I don't think I'll be able to (although, I would really like to). Friday I have meetings in Madison all day, and Saturday I'll be up in the Twin Cities for a birthday party (meaning, in no condition to climb). The weather looks like it's going to be great out, with a slight possibility of rain. Of course, the weather man know jack.. :D

If anyone is interested, it's official! The 3rd annual Minnesota Gathering is scheduled for June 3-6. Here is some more information: http://www.rockclimbing.com/forums/viewtopic.php?topic=57773&forum=27 Also here: http://www.minnesotaclimbing.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&sid=16&mode=thread&order=0&thold=0 The group site only holds 75 people, and last year we had well over 75 people. So if you want to be on the group site, I'd let Les know. Climb on! Craig

Anyone heading to DL on the 17th? Weather permitting, I'll be out there - going to hike and generally enjoy the view. Thought I'd check to see if anyone might be climbing there that day. :)

I went climbing with Euroford this past weekend. It was great because there was nobody there. We talked about the same thing. July 24 and 25 would be great for me.

well, where is everyone staying at? My plan was to camp at green valley. The other person missing from the list is organic - we might meet up at my place and then the 3 of us will drive out early sat morning. So that's 8 ppl. Ya know, Railroad tracks is a good spot, and the approach is easy too :-) Lots of great varied climbs there .

i'm thinking we will try green valley as well. despite looking a little corny, i think it should be good. should i have worries about it being over crowded?? did you reserve in advance?

no - I didn't even call yet, I suppose I should. My last experience with that place, is it was a gorgeous weekend in spring, and the place was pretty dead. Anyways, reservations aren't really NEEDED but you can call over there to make em if you want GV map and phone

Hello Midwest Climbers! Matthias, his girlfriend, and myself plan on being in cleos ampitheater area tomorrow around 10am. Euroford and his wife should be there between 11 and 12. So come on down and join us. If not, we'll see you at green valley campsite and we'll have a big ole fire and drink fine ale!

Thanks for checking in honey and letting us know your ok :-) hehe Yeah, it was fun weekend.. And even though I made 1 trucker REALLY mad, my drafting the semi's worked so well, I used only a quarter tank of gas - 168 miles - which is a bit over 35mpg!! I
