Oi dude, where you been? DOUBLE HOLY CRAP!!! TD , good to see you around! Jeff, I've offered before. Always seemed you didn't trust me. (Not that I'd entirely blame you ) How about some Hammond pond action some evening or Saturday. Or head back over to Rattlesnake, there's some trad at that left end, yes, even beyond the practice slabs.

Rob - getting to CR on a weeknight from Boston is an exercise in traffic hell. much as I'd love to join you, the trip out there would suck donkey-dick. Chad - sorry if I ever gave you that impression as it's not true at all. I certainly trust you. Anytime you want to climb, let me know. You can all thank me for getting TD back in the room. I've managed to keep in touch with him via phone and I like to think our recent conversations have persuaded him to return to our cyber-world. Welcome back TD.

Working too much on the house in the summer. Never try and do a fence by yourself when there are 42 holes to dig. Other than that, climbing in the basement a bunch. Need to try and get out on real rock this weekend. Thinking local in the AM on sat. Update on foo, he's not dead either. Working too much, has a dead computer, and a girlfriend. He's doing well. Yeah, all Jeff's doing.

OK, so I'm basically an idiot and forgot that the team I coach has matches on Wednesdays and Fridays, so I can't really climb those days, till the end of the school year. However, I can climb this Friday afternoon in the boston/metro area (CR, QQ, Black & White, etc.), and I am definately headed out to Crow Hill this weekend (not sure which day yet). I couldn't get past the crux on Tarzan, but I'm convinced I was just being stupid, so I need another go at it... Jeff, sorry to bag on the weekend trip, I just dont think I can get away for the whole weekend. Crow Hill is a little more managable for me. Rob, I actually can't do next Thursday or the Thursday after due to meetings at school. I'm begining to think the gods may be against us ever climbing together...

wow, where do I begin.. TD it's great to hear from you, it's been, what, 2 years? glad Foo is doing well too, tell him I said hi. Jeff yeah I know CR is a haul from beanton on a weeknight, unfortunately so is QQ for me ;-( Ben we got all summer dude. once Fay is done and my guit lessons pause for the summer, it'll be full on CR weeknights. BTW, Tarzan threw me for a loop the one time I got on it...scared me too. Chad, whenever you wanna come out, I'll be happy to make the hike into the Milford Quarry and play around on the rubble arrette and faces ;-) these last few weekends have been taken up with car-inspection prep and repairs, and this saturday is no different. the deathscort requires some fixes to get the big red R off the windshield. if I can get it done soon enough, I'll be at CR in the late afternoon.

'Sup all! Partner thread revival, huh? I had plans to go the Gunks this weekend and climb both days with Alex, now those plans are being modified. We're driving out together and climbing on Saturday, but then she has to take off. I'm hoping to line up a partner for Sunday (Maybe for Saturday evening too) and also a ride back into Boston Sunday evening. Is anybody game for one or both roles? I PM'd JJeff a little bit ago, so I'll wait to hear back from him before I commit to making plans with anybody else, but PM if you're interested. Edit: Wanna swing leads? Wanna follow? No problem, I have all gear we'd need and will help with gas (so will My Hero Pizza). EDIT II: Got a hold of JJeff, and it's on. Thanks for lending an ear MCT!

Nice to see folks popping in. Still, I'm all for passing the torch to new folks. Hey new folks - you want to find partners? Organize events and advertise 'em here - that's what we did! Offers like Core's are one in a million - don't wait for that kinda thing. Rob - congrats! For my part, I'm very busy with a new job, so not much time to play online. Also, hate to sound elitist, but my pool of partners who climb at the same level or lower is big enough already. And as for finding partners who climb harder than I do, i don't see many here. If you're not too pissed at me for the above - wish me luck - Allison and I are heading to Yosemite for my birthday! I'm very excited! We fly out tomorrow night! And speaking of partners, I happen to be partnerless for the second half of the week, after Al flies home. I'm hopeful that I'll find someone in Camp 4 - but just know that everyone's in the same boat sometimes. Cheers, GO

Hey there! I don't really know how to use this thing yet, hopefully I'll figure it out soon! I have lost my best climbing partner to the hills and am looking to find a new one! I am living in Mass for the next 3 months and am looking for anyone to do any sort of climbing...i love to boulder, sport climb, and am getting into trad (i have very limited gear and only have about a year of experience, but I LOVE it!)...if anyone is interested in climbing, I only work Mon-Thurs, so I have Friday and the weekends off! Feel free to email me at xulexi@hotmail.com! Thanks!

jumaringjeff wrote: have fun in Yosemite Gabe. Thanks, Jeff! Thanks, Wide! jake: In reply to: Hmm i seem to remember asking folks to go to LW all winter long and not one person came down despite prime conditions and almost no snow the entire season. "prime conditions" is a subjective term. :) Eric - yeah, I'm a little worried about my finger, but we'll see how it goes. With the new taping pattern I've been using, at least it's not getting worse. As for what I'm getting on, the current plan goes something like this: Day 1 easier single pitch stuff - folks have recommended maybe heading to Church Bowl. Day 2 somewhat longer easy stuff, like After Six, or maybe link up some mid-length easy stuff like The Grack and something else. Day 3 harder short stuff. A bunch of one or two pitch stuff in the 5.9 or easy 5.10 range, depending on how we're doing. Or another option would be to do a couple of moderately difficult mid-length routes, like Nutcracker. Day 4 something really long and moderate, like Royal Arches. Day 5 I drop off Allison, but then have 4 more days to climb. What I do then is up in the air. I should have my shit together by then, but what I do really depends on who I meet up with in C4. Maybe East Buttress of Middle Cathedral? Any suggestions or comments are welcome. Neither of us are familiar with the Valley. GO
