I started out sport climbing, ended up in the wonderful world of trad, and i must say i feel more comfortable on trad lead sometimes. Because when you are sport climbing there could be zero bolts around the crux sections. but in trad when ever ya feel a wee bit nervous just plug some gear in. But i think this comes with being very comfortable climbing at a certain grade while trad'ing.
cheers

or there could be lots of bolts and zero pro placement, like when you climb R and X rated climbs.

When I soloed Zenith, a couple days before a climber died soloing half dome.
While investigating that they were also lookinf for 2 tourist who they later found dead.
helicopters flying most everyday.

Like I said in my other post, I had accepted the risk before I climbed Zenith. And was not scared of the falls. It was the fear of having to ask for a rescue if I had to that I had a problem with.

Something I need to work on.
