Uh dude,
Things that where cool from the weekend:
The Climbers,
the rock,
the soup,
the steaks,
the beer,
woman, (damn pirates)
the facility,
the FREE shit (and i know a fellow pirate that would agree with me, should we call it "pirates booty")
the hoolahooping,
hooray to new sports (extreme hammok twirling... yes, i am the one who was injured)
waking up and seeing your two person tent, have one less person in it.... AHH some space finally.
the weather
Gainesvillians (ahhh, i miss that place... we know how to party)
.......... and shit,
well more to come in... well less then a month....
see you all at LRC.... everyone needs to keep an eye out for a thread... we plan on specifying camping location, and all that crazy jazz, where we intend on having a KEGORATOR hooked up, THROUGH THE TRUNK OF A CAR!!!! how cool is that shit?

Ok wankers, get yourself somethin to eat and a nice cold beer or perhaps a scotch or bourbon, this is gonna be a long one! here's a Horse Pens TR from a pirate's point of view :robert: (Imagine all of this being said in my documentary commentator accent, makes it better :wink: )
Twas a crisp cool evening when the Pirates from Winchester set sail for the warmer rock of Alabama. They chose to endure their trip in the dark hours of the night and early morning, so as to go unseen by other scouldrels of the sea. Dread Pirate Irish navigated meticulously keeping close watch on the stars (and the mapquest directions sheet) so as to not get lost on their way to their destination. It was smooth sailing and early morning The Dread Pirate Irish and Captain Ironman Drake Cannibal arrived at their desitnation. SUDDENLY, they were ambushed!!! A burly bear of a man blocked them in with his high powered mini boat on 4 wheels! But the pirates were not scared. They befriended the brute and after a bit of swashbuckling and tale swapping went deeper into the fathoms to find a place to hideout for a few days. Docking their vessel in a cove, the pirates quickly induldge in a few drinks and went off to view the rocks they drove so far to plunder on.....

...the pirates took a rest, climbed some more, drank some more, rested some more blah blah blah. They awoke and built a fire to warm the chilled evening and drank, cause we all know that'll warm a soul even better :wink:
Another ship appeared and docked just off in the distance. The pirates were learly at first, but decided the newcomers might be cold and in need of some spirits to warm their blood. The company would be welcome too, since the pirates were awaiting the arrival of the rest of the crew. The newcomers were not yet pirates, but wished to join the brotherhood, Irish and Cannibal would have to wait and see if they were worthy, before allowing initiation.
The rest of the crew arrived and drinking ensued until the sun came up along with a bit of night plundering on the rocks and some mindless bantering. The pirates rested for a bit and went to climb some more.

Friday night, after meeting some more lowdown good for nothins, the pirates decided to initiate some of their new found cohorts into the brotherhood. It was time for EXTREEEEEME HAMMOCK TWIRLING....

The pirates and their companions had to call it an early night, however, because the nextday was to be the greatest part of their adventure.....
Up at 6, Beer in Camelpak by 7, the pirates loaded up their satchels, making sure they had plenty of spirits to last a good solid hour, and back to the rocks......

....It was a day of hard plundering and lots of new skallywags were met....At the end of the day the pirates convened in the sheltered hut to collect booty and swap tales with their new found mates. Irish the loud mouth pirate commentated on the judges remarks and earned herself an invite on stage. After a couple of kisses and a gun show she aquired some sweet booty, thus causing her to faint in esctacy (sp?). Lots of marvelous booty was distributed, then it was back to Pirate Cove to celebrate the plundering of the weekend and finish of the keg so it wouldn't drag the ship down on the sail home.....

well I do believe all of my cred as a Dread Pirate has now been distroyed. I guess I must acquire a new name... Im thinking something along the lines of Mr. Saturday Night Fever John Travolta Scallywag. (btw, I don't remember hoolahooping) I remember watching the harpies for a while and Seadawg Jason and I remarking about how the hip movements looked like they were...umm...nevermind. Arrrrggggh.

*BZZZZZZZZZT* off by 20 lbs., and wrong reason. that's the beta for spirit if you're *short.* and its hella easier than the tall beta. fuck that intermediate. or flexible i guess. my knee was at my shoulder to get my foot up, though, so good luck if you're much taller.
not the girl in the red shorts, but the one in the grey tank top, actually got bombedil, and she used the undercling i do beleive. the other way is the beta for repeatedly falling off of it, though it did make for some kewl pictures i guess.

neuro: My camera sux ace, but glad it could capture you emotions as well as your image! Definately gonna try and work it out to go to LRC. Unfourtunately it's around exam time, so we'll have to see! Planning on boatrock and HP40 again in January though!

If I didn't have to work fri,sat, sun, and Mon, I would be up there in a heartbeat. The rest of the crew may be making a trek back to HP, or somewhere else. Who knows.
Amar, one of the kids from the gym is having some people over on Sat for the game, nothing too crazy, but I think Ben (from g-ville) and I are probably going to head over there for a while. I have to work at like 3 on Sat, so I will probably miss some of the game. I know someone, Ben or I or Lee (I dont think you met him) will be climbing this weekend and if you want to come to G-ville, you are more than welcome, I have a big ass couch you can crash on. (If anyone else wants to come they are welcome too, I have a couple of couches). Ben lives 2 doors down so even if I'm not here you have someone to hang out w/. Let me know.
