In reply to: Btw, I'm of the opinion you'd enjoy "Scottish winter". I got a spare bed in a hotel, with the option room and board in return for a couple of hours a work a day. Hey Axmurdererdonny... I think you were just propositioned to prostitute yourself for gay sex.

granite_grrl wrote: Wow, except for some tidbits from Brendon (BTW - neither Nathan or I have broken a BD pick yet. I know people do, I just don't understand it), this thread is turing into a total Donny-rama. This is all correct. I go through about a set of picks every year and do a lot of drytooling. Brendon is bias against BD. I will admit it is really hard to find BD picks that aren't a little bent coming out of the box. BD steal is pretty soft in comparison to Grivel and Petzl. It is surprising that so many people seem to have them break. Generally they will bend before they break. Grivel and Petzl just tend to snap (possibly at a higher load) without bending. BD picks get dull quick to.

I'm just trying to save up some moniez++ On the other hand, instead of putting in all that effort to stop haggis/axmurderer/hitsforbothteams donny, would be to just have the damn convo about ice tools, let it turn into the "sketchiest piece of make-shift pro" and then into a rant about dumb ass sheffield climbers doing dumb shit on ben nevis. It would probobly be a lot more fun- and seeing as I have been on the site for longer then the other donnies, like get(thefuck)out donny, they need not be involved. Savvy?

They did, the PC++ thread. I do appreaciate that Chossy is the master of the lounge, which is why I'm attempting to aim the convo back at what it was pre-immigration fail. As I was saying- Chossy, do you reckon that by being a little bit bendy, the BD picks give a wee bit more bite in wobbly torques then other picks? Just a thought. Also, how much to axes cost over there (money saving scheme in mind!)

chossmonkey wrote: stymingersfink wrote: someone should start their own thread, quit mucking up chossy's thread. It wouldn't matter. HE IS RUINING RC.COM!!!!! ouch. Bit melodramatic, no? I post ~100 posts on an average day, despite what I said to sty. The fact is that I'm active in the morning and at night- or really early morning or afternoon to you. This means when you come on, I've been on for 6 hours, bored as shit, and not feeling up to much, so I've responded to all the threads you look at. Then at night, when you're just getting ready to leave work, I guess, I post again, so it seems like I'm always here, despite the fact I'm gone for many an hour every day. I'm actually sorry for ruining your fun, I'll try to cut back. However, it's true that if we just talked about some interesting stuff it would be fun, though I suppose it would ruin the feeling of an elite few and all that (Not hating, I savvy). So, now that you've gotten about 200 PC++ while talking about gum on shoe etc, and about 5 by talking about climbing, can we get back on track?
