If you want to do some crazy alpinismo. I'll be here all year. Hook it up.
Crazy alpinismo like spindrift swimming mixed climbing sufferfests?
Woooo! I'm there!

You know how to reach me, just give me a week notice, or not. Either way doesn't much matter.

P.S. I'm 20

If you know what you're about then it's fine. It's all good on my end.

Cool, while a big shinney new rack looks pretty, it just means two things.
More crap to lug up the route.
You haven't been climbing enough to scratch it up. I should know, most of my cams are way to clean and shinney.
Just replace all the old webbing with new, and yer good to go.

You are welcome to climb with me if you come through the North Texas-Oklahoma area. We could climb in the Wichita Mountains in SW Oklahoma. It's an amazing field of granite. One would never think you were in Oklahoma. I see this thread is massively long so I'm not going to bother to see if anybody else in the area gave you an offer. Just let me know.

Haha, quite more than a "field" more like a range. It's a magical place!! Definitely the best climbing in the south. Enchanted rock in Texas is good too, but a lot further away from me.

I'm incredibly jealous of your availability....Tongue

That said, I'd liked to invite you for climbing if/when you're in the greater Moab area. My bf and I are frequent climbers and are always looking for new people to share in the fun. PM me if you are interested.

Whatever you guys get up to on a regular basis, I want to trail it.
Think of this as a vister coming to your country and wanting to try out your normal day-to-day food.
If someone came here to scotland and stayed with loads of folks, they wouldn't want everyone to feed them haggis (which is the shiznit, btw) they would want fish'n'chips, battered sassie's, gammon, deep fried pizza, scampi, and steaks. Know what I mean?
I'm not after whatever super-classics are withing weekend driving distance, I want your fastfood climbing. Wink (though some sweet climbing, and nice meals, wouldn't go amiss Tongue)

the trad stuff is only about 15 minutes from my campus, and the sport climbing is 45 minutes or so. by the way, its pretty easy climbing, nothing over 5.10

5.10 sounds plenty hard for me.

Ok-- I'm a short drive from RRG. If you already have plans, lemme know the date. Or I can tell you the next time I'm going with my group. When --ballpark-- do you think you'll be in the area? And if you said it 10 pages ago, I'm sorry I didn't read through it!

Not sure when I'll hit it up. Prolly twice (once for rock and once for big water in spring).
But hey, it's a date Tongue
