I didn't read the book, but I'm having a hard time understanding how the movie could slander him when he's essentially the narrator (or the book for that matter). Magnus' climbing mentor is mentioned by Joe in a less than fantastic way in the book. (hope that clears it up)

You should spend a day and drive up to noiZ. It's only 2.5hrs away. Knot a bad idea. We are free awl daze sonday. I don't have any solid plans for Sunday and will most likely be making bread and recovering from Christmas parties on Saturday night. But if you want to make the trip up to noiZ I'd be happy to show you around. We could even do a couple of roots at the crag I took Kart to. The wife would love to go to the noiZ. So we gladly accept your offer. I will PM our cell. She was supprized to learn noiZ is so close to LV, well I knew it was close but never put it together that it was that close. Cool. Yeah, it's funny how many people that LIVE in Vegas don't realize how close noiZ iz. It's a really good tyme of year to visit. The crowds are gone, you can drive all the way up the main canyon. (shuttles are done for the year) The temps are supposed to be good this weekend too. Springdale is a cool little town and most of the shops and restaurants are still open. The Cerberus crag has a really short approach and is south facing so it's perfect for winter climbing and I imagine Sunday it will be T-shirt temps at the base of the cliff by 10 or so. I'll PM you my cell too.

Not super clean like it is from a stamp, just rugged enough so you can tell an anvil was involved. Thank you! Magnus; you have to decide soon for the bottle openers if you want them there by Christmas. Just say'n. Oh yeah, I meant to say - my bro is flying over in early January so I was gunna get him to bring them over :) I will FB you about them though.
