Actually the tent stakes I'm liking these daze r the GIANT 8" long nail style. drive the snout out of them. If you can do with out little plastic clippy, Lowe's-HD has the nails for cheap cheap cheap.

As I reread that, it occured to me, you should be able to get sum washers to slid onto the nails for cheap too. If you don't need the hole in the plastic clip. if you do you could drill won.

I don't know where you get your ice, but down here ice is expensive. I'd have thought it would be cheaper in kanukistan where it's colder.

That's what I'm thinking. Just getting some good 10" nails and maybe putting a crimped wire on the end, or just driving them as-is.

I'm getting paranoid thinking about the marmots now.

Though spring has arrived up there and the web-cams show grass growing; so here's hoping it's not going to be as bad as my brain is leading me on to believe.

Thew washer idea brought up some more ideas. I don't think I'll put any on paper, but I have a nice idea in my head about how to secure it to the ground. The up-and-over I have covered already.

Just got back from driving Meaghan to the airport. She might drive down to join us for a bit when we are in CO, NM, AZ, UT after her school lets out and before her summer school teaching gig kicks in.

Now that all the FamObs have subsided, I can start tomorrow loading the POD with the big stuff like sofa, bed, shop machines, and my wounded pride.

My first GF was like that. Not so much a camelback though, more of a stuck up princess.
