just went to an awesome roots/country/bluegrass show with dribble. it is amazing how quickly you can go from "holy shit these guys are awesome musicians" to "oh, they're doing the same thing over and over again."

camhead wrote: So, talking to a German guy at the gym last night. He mentioned that he had done a bit of biathlon back home, which has always sounded really cool. Guns and xc skis, hell yeah. If it's good enough for the James Bond villain in "For Your Eyes Only," it's got to be awesome. Then, he mentioned that Biathletes train in the summer by doing high intensity bike rides with their guns, and then target shooting. I guess it is really hard to shoot accurately when your heartrate is way up and you're tired. Then I realized the next step in this: El Cap speed climbing Biathlon. You have to do the Nose, but at the top of every pitch, you have to pull out the high-powered sniper rifle and shoot a gawker down in El Cap Meadow. Extra points for Japanese tourists, since they're smaller than Americans. You could do just speed ascent, or, you know, someone like Honnold or Caldwell could incorporate it into free ascents for added style. I'm throwing the gauntlet down, Hans Fluoride! this poste is full of teh racism

They're also more plentiful and travel in big groups which are usually tightly packed. You could just lob a bullet into the masses and stand a good chance at getting a hit. So I'm going to have to go ahead and disagree with your point scheme. I suggest something like the following, from lowest points to highest: Asian Samoan/Islander General Caucasian Touron Touron in Hawaiian shirt Touron more than 200 yards from Tour Bus French Babies French Babies Any member of group of 3 or more cilmbing across the valley added a category. Nice. And extra points the bigger the group. Except when said group of 6 are ahead of CI. In that case, you'd just shoot CI and automatically win the international championship. Fair point. He is hard to kill after all

I want to set up a portaledge between the two trade routes in connecticut (hahahhahahhahahahahahhahahah...trade routes in connecticut) on a friday night, and haul up a quarter keg. Then, when the hordes of top roping imbeciles arrive on the nice september saturday, I can mock them while getting smammered on my portaledge in between the routes.
