I know there will be lots of problems. Please do not post a duplicate bug and also don't ask questions here.
Please state the problem, where it occurs, and any details we need to recreate it. Here are some known issues that I haven't fixed yet:
1) The front page doesn't update with the latest posts
2) The User menus on the left aren't updating when I'm in Forums and logged in
3) The Edit Profile page is missing LOTS of RC.com specific fields
4) The view Profile page links are messed up
5) The old User Profile page shows old data
6) Some users didn't transfer (Anyone with a duplicate email didn't get moved...I warned you all 2 weeks in advance!!)

The regional discussions and partner searches are not linked from within the routes database.

cant get into the routes info, only to the main page
cant view my profile, or my pics that i submitted
when you click to go to a specific forum it takes you to the top of them and you have to scroll down through them

the "Friends" feature has dissappeared entirely... both the "My Friends" option on the left, and the notices of when friends are online.
also, when i click the RC.com logo that normally takes you to the main page, it sometimes takes me to the "old" (normal) main page, sometimes just to a list of forums, and sometimes i get an error message... its like a box of chocolates, i never know what i'm going to get!
oh and in my PM folder, it shows the PM's from people i have killfiled

Most of the links in the Users column are not working. I can't find people, does not show what climbs people have done in their profile, and friends online is missing.
And PLEASE undo the changes to the profiles. I think that most of the people on here hate the changes. There is no room for personality now. No one can add their own information about themselves how they like. There also is NO place for the persons name. This needs to be added! PLEASE change it back.

I, too, have no mod rights.
The "click here to view your message" screen doesn't let you click -- it just returns you to view your post whether you want to look at it or not. (I was about to click "return to the forum list whatever" and all of a sudden I was back here -- under the circumstances, sort of convenient. :))
Bugs notwithstanding, all this hard work is VERY appreciated! I know it will take a bit of time for people to get used to the new UI, but I think in the long run people are going to like the "new and improved" rc.com even better.

A couple more:
1. In the NRP/Seneca gathering thread, there are supposed to be 590 posts (according to the forum topic list). The thread "dies" on page 35 (count=510), where the following message appears:
No posts exist for this topic
All subsequent pages, to page 40, contain this message only. Edit: It doesn't matter whether you click on the page number from the index or from the open thread. Same thing happens. It also happens if you click Next Page through the thread to that point. (Yeah, I couldn't sleep last night.)
I've tried to reproduce this in other long threads, but haven't been successful.
2. (okay, this is a feature change that's kind of inconvenient, probably a Low priority :roll:) The Send PM option is no longer available on the left menu bar. You have to search for someone's info (or one of their posts), then send them a PM with the PM button from there. It would be nice to be able to send a PM without having to go through so many gyrations first.
3. In the Edit Profile screen, the Location field is only 16 characters. There's mention of a postal code there, but the definition of the field label could be changed to indicate that's what you want (assuming that IS what you want) to avoid confusion.
More to come as I stumble into them.

not sure if you guys are workign on just the forums or not, but im getting errors in the routes DB... specificly the actual routes are not displaying instead it is displaying error codes

also if you view some ones profile it has an area for an avatar, but no way to pick an avatar... i assume you guys dont want avatars and simply need to remove the space from the view profile page
we lost our tags... Boulderer, belay, sport climber... under our name sin the forums

Kate - I think I know the problem with the NRP thread.
Oozingpustule didn't survive the change. None of my old posts appear. All threads which I started appear to be gone.
Looks like only my very first username - hanschlorine - still exists.
I hope this can be fixed. I'd hate to lose everything.
EDIT - I just went back and changed my email address on hanschlorine. I hope that makes it possible to resurrect oozingpustule..

impossible to mod for me, the same.
no HTML is recognized in posting and current system is extremely clumsy for my keyboard layout
I show up as not being logged in on the sidebar when Iīm in forums.
killfile gone and sucks, agree with climbingcowboy
I can look at the routes dbase but get a ton of error reports at the bottom.
new PM managing system kicks ass, limited capacity will be resented but I think itīs a good add on to save server space.
and as an idea for the future... the forums look MUCH nicer than the rest of the site, like a ferrari parked between a bunch of... well I hesitate to say Yugos... so letīs stick with... chevies...

Prob #1---All pending photos cann't be viewed by photo editors or approved. Looks like right now that all teh Pending adn on-hold photos see to be lost.
Prob#2--state Mgrs can't go in and edit teh info on thier state (at the top of the page...little edit button)...along with that
Prob #3--As an Admin/owner...I can't seem to edit any state info or country....It looks like I can get into all the forums, but can't edit routes//photos...or articles....no pending articles either
Prob#4--Regional Disscussions Forum does not link back to the area that relates to in teh Routes DB. We have really no idea unless they see where it is in the world.
CAN EDIT OLD POSTS (MINE AND OTHERS TOO)
Looks like the forums is teh only thign converted currently and the rest is still on OLD RC.COM MEMORY there are lots of links that are not connected.
