Since Les and Dann are out I thought I would take the initiative and start up a new month. I am sure they will have stories to tell when they get back from JT. All of the Minnesota climbers out there post your trip plans for May here and we can hook up. I admit that I was lame and didn't do any climbing at all this last weekend and next weekend I have a 5k run that I signed up for on Sunday, so Saturday might be tough to squeeze in some climbing, but I think I can swing an early trip to Red Wing. I will be at VE this Wednesday too if anyone want to share a rope.

Well Dann and I got back from J-tree last night and we both had to go right to work, Dann is going to do a trip report tonight so one of us will post a link here. We had a really great time and climbed our arses off, left some skin and a little blood on the rock too. Think Dann and I would probably like to do Barns Fri if the weather agrees, we'll see what happens. :D Les :D

Josh was FANTASTIC! I think Les left a little more blood than I did but we had a great time... I will do the Les & Dann's Big JTree Adventure trip report tomorrow... As Les mentioned, we landed here at MSP about 8pm and both rushed off to work and I've been BUSY and now, I'm tired as all get out so, hopefully you can all wait 'cus, I gotta get some rest after 5 days of climbing beautiful high desert granite ClassicS with LOTS-O-Exposure and, racking up about 30 Stars and 1400 vertical feet in the process... Check around Tuesday eve before you go to bed... (hopefully that was enough hints to get you to come back) I'll hopefully see y'all Wednesday at VE. OH, and congratulate Les when you see him everyone... He's draggin' around some incredibly large and heavy new kahones. duskerhu

Oh my. Kahones? New ones? I'm not gonna ask. Anyway, I'll be at VE on Thursday, in need of a belay or two. Anyone else? Paula.

Once again if anyone is willing to let a 5.8 indoor climber tag along I would love to come on saturday or sunday depending on which weather permits. The only gear that I have is harness, shoes, belay device, and a half a dozen quickdraws, just short a rope. Hope we can do this, I'm very anxious to get my hands on "real rock". Either PM me or email me at jreinan@attbi.com

I'll be at VE tonight the usual time, Dan says he'll be there also, I dont really have any pictures of J-tree to show (Kurt ask last time) except on my puter but I promise I'll get my film developed and see what I have there, I dont think it will be much I should have a couple of nice pics of a ladybug booty call and some flowering cacti and well see how many actual climbing pics I got  :D Les :D

Well, I know there are at least 2 pics of you leading Dung Fu on that roll... How framed or how focused they are may be debatable however as I had to take them one-handed-ly with your sophisticated new SLR as I was belaying you with the other-handed-ly. I wasn't sure if you'd seen me take them or not that day. I was hoping not as I didn't want you to be nervous about it. I thought I'd let you find them when you got them developed... See ya at VE people... duskerhu

I love those photos! You guys suck, I am totally jealous. I am in dire need of more outdoor climbing. That two-pitch 5.6 sounds just about my speed. :)
