Tickets to Durango (to visit my sister) during Ouray... failing that, decent ice conditions here (in minnesota) and a bottle of good whisky... and failing that, just a freaking day off!!! (have to work x-mas eve, x-mas day, new years eve, new years day...) wish being a gear whore (ahem, dealer) was a good enough job to make a living on!

ArcTeryx Javelin Comp soft shell. Just got em in to the store I work at, and I like em. "Gore Tex"* on the shoulders, arms. Softshell for chest and back. Interestingly they cut this softshell a lot differently than there other designs, more like say a Mountain Hardware, in terms of fit, so its perfectly suited for a rainy night on the town, as it is in the mountains. At $300 though, its definitely a christmas gift... (* Since the entire garment is not waterproof, Gore wont let em call it GoreTex, even though its the same fabric)

Wish one- New Rope70M dry! Delivers tommorrow! Wish two- Have buddy tell me he's actually a gear rep and will hook me up wholesale style! It happened! Wish three- find enough cash to land myself a set of small friends, two pair of shoes, 20 wiregates, 4 lockers, ropebag, and a set of nuts for less than $350. The cha ching is building for this one, oh yea wishes granted. FY Wish four- hook up with some hottie brazilian climber down at Potreo over the holidays, LMAO. That last one's a little doubtful. LOL

Dear santa, I would like a pair of mad rock locos for bouldering. I would also let a metolius curve nut set(the one with 14 nuts). Also please give me sizes 00-10(i think) of cassin or ocun cams. I have been a very good little boy this year and have never dropped anybody and have been a good spotter, so please do not give me a lump of chalk. -Travis

Blue through red Aliens. Alex wants a full set of Camalot C4s, a down jacket, a Bosch and mile-long cliffband of virgin limestone, a Sherman tank or similar 4WD vehicle, a pimped-out RV, and Broncos season tickets. OK, he'll settle for one #2 camalot and a sweatshirt. :) Also, I want the best digital SLR money can buy, and several fat, zippy-fast zoom lenses. Failing that, a professional-level scanner and the latest version of PS and a nerd who can teach me how to use it all. And a puppy!

My Santa rocks(to thine own self be true....)! He's already covered 3/4 the costs I'll incur for a trip to JTree in early December. But it's a long winter....so maybe I can start thinking about a trip in February. For real "day of" xmas....Let's see.... The traditional xmas gift - socks. And.....I want to start skiing, and haven't a clue. So, maybe a little assistance in figuring out how to get going with that. And, the thing I always ask for and don't seem to be getting - A tall, thin, long-haired naughty guy who is smart, gentle, fun and kind.

Ice tools and boots!!! Edited to say: a warmer sleeping bag and maybe even a bivy sack. As if! I think Santa has already got my present in the works, a lump of chalk for a naughty girl, no doubt! Actually though, I got way more then I deserve- I've got a great guy who is smart, funny, kind, compassionate and hella-sexy!! And just when it can't get any better-- a ropegun to boot!

I'm pretty easy to please, as I'm just starting out and not quite as demanding as those of you with more experience. Dear Santa, I know that you are really all about the naughty girls anyway, so here is what I want for Christmas: My own harness My own chalk bag 10 draws ought to do it, for now Thank you, Santa. P.S. If you'd be so kind as to oblige, I may test out my new little bit of gear whilst donning nothing but a sports tank and curve loving shorts. (My goodness, where did this wicked girl come from? It's usually the quiet ones that surprise you.......)

After getting a lot of climbing equipment for my wedding, I had to think really hard of stuff we don't have yet. So I figured it's about time I learn some more self-rescue techniques for those jams I am sure that I'll get myself into, so The SElf-Rescue book in the How to climb series was first on my list. Second was A Squamish guidebook for our trip next year. Josh

judging by the amount of gear that some people have been asking for i'm convinced that the climbing community is comprised of only "good" people, lol. i'd be happy with a nice card(addressed to me would be even better, lol)

I wish: 1. a new job that doesn't suck (ones that can give me time and money for climbing). 2. a friend who climbs so i can get back to climbing.(after 1 and a half years) 3. holds for my bouldering wall. 4. rope and quickdraws after the first two are granted. Just let me win the lottery.
It's usually the quiet ones that surprise you.......)
be sure to post pics when you do [;)]

To stop moving around and to settle somewhere near some good crack climbing and less than 1 hour from a beach. And, to have my girl keep me company there (just have to convince her to come along) j-

World peace... and if that doesn't happen then maybe just for my back to feel better in time for next climbing season. Oh, and for DMM to deliver on those long overdue aluminum offsets.
