Well I think the first one is the better of the two. The second one just looks like a person in a ball. Although I think the framing would have been better in the first had the branches on the left not been in frame. Overall though the photos look a little under exposed from the climber being in the shade, so you lost a lot of detail in the dark color of his clothing.
Oh and they're butt shots!
