I've gotten wind burn several times from skiing. A mosturizing lotion works well for me to alleviate the pain and heal the skin.

Hope this helps.

Try distilled white vinegar for the burn. It fells the best if the vinegar was in the refrigerator. The only draw back is that you smell like a pickle. Then apply Noxema to put some moisture back into your skin.

This is a sunburn remedy but, should work just the same for your windburn.

Pure Vitamin E works wonders. You poke a hole in the capsule and put it on your windburn. It cleared mine up in two days. Oh, but you have to do it right after you wash your face before you go to bed.

This guy I know swears by this stuff called Hoofmaker. I haven't used it for windburn, but as a moisturizer, it's excellent. I would imagine that it works for windburn as well.

And yes, it is also used on cows and horses.

Cut off some of your aloe plants leaves and rub them on your face make sure it doesnt have any pesticides on it though. Pure aloe works wonders.
