Hi everyone,
my name is elliot, i am from England and i am a competent climber, i am coming over july 21st and will be staying in the Malibu area for 5 weeks. I am looking for a good bouldering area near by- grades not too hard 5.5 - 5.8. Also any good indoor centres would be good too.

Thank you!

Stoney Point is THE place to boulder in LA

also check out Malibu creek, mostly sport but since you're right there.

im actually going to be out there in LA the week of Oct.27th w/ my wife for a wedding. any guide books or more info you could send my way about Stoney Point??? we were thinking about Joshua Tree for a couple days of camping and bouldering but i think it's a little bit of a hike compared to the proximity of Stoney Point. sounds like it could be just as fun and much closer.
