Just to reply to a previous post. The bouldering here is just below the Pagoda and it really sucks. Not worth checking out + its illegal and you will get in trouble if you get busted. Tons and tons of much better stuff near Reading. ~Rob

Ive already been to Utah. I wish I could live there. I love little Cottonwood. Routes like satans Corner,Etc. Etc. they are all classic. Its a shame what those mormons are doing. Ever climb out on the Island there?? I hope to get back soon. For now though Ive got tons of great stuff in my back yard near Scranton. ~Rob

Hi Roclimb, You're wrong on this one,Neversink crag is on Neversink Mt. The pagoda is on Mt. Penn, one mountain to the west of Neversink.Easy mistake, unless your trying to tell that to the local police writing you up at the time. The spot you're refering to is what we locals call "The Peace Rock",due to a large peace sign that decorated it for a good many years.Neversink crag isn't too far from there though.I think the directions are posted in the "routes" area.If not, drop me a line and I'll be more than happy to give you directions,I live on Neversink so I think I can guide you correctly. Hi Clymer, Neversink is just to the east of Reading,Pa.On Neversink Mt.If you know where Reading is,it's the mountain just to the east of where the pagoda sits on.There are GPS numbers on "routes" area. Otherwise Reading is 38 miles west of Philadelphia,on rt.422. The crag is only about 40'-45' high and has only a few routes worth climbing. It's on the mountain I live on so I go there a lot, when it's warm enough.Birdsboro is closeby also,so I'm there often too. There are many more routes there.Neversink is toprope,Birdsboro is set up for sport routes, there are some route there that run up to 100' or so. Hope this helped Climb Happy Mitch
