Ok this dude Jim Holloway from the US (whom i have never before heard of) was apparently pulling v13 back in 1977!! Go here and scroll down untill you get to the v13 section and look for "Jim Holloway" in the FA column... omg and i thought the stuff John Gill was doing was incredible (not to put him down, i still can't believe the stuff he did back then, and much earlier than the late 70's too.... but this guy was like the Fred Nicole of the time i guess...) anyone else hear of him before?

I met Jim Holloway in Boulder, CO about ten years ago. He was no longer doing any bouldering to speak of. Here is a post that John Gill made last year re Holloway: http://www.rockclimbing.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=219283&highlight=#219283 There is more info about Holloway-- 1) on John Gill's web site 2) in John Sherman's book Stone Crusade 3) in Pat Ament's book Master of Rock Curt

Yeah, we've heard of him. John Gill (jgill) submitted a pretty cool picture of him taken in 1979. You can find it here: http://www.rockclimbing.com/photos.php?Action=Show&PhotoID=8822 A
