OK, maaaaybe this will work. If you want a Dirt Barbie Tshirt, make a post saying so and give the size, stlye yo uare most interested in, colors, and anythign else you think would help to make this shirt. I'll get my artist to make some Dirt Barbie artwork and post it for comment LOL. (SHe is a climber too, and well on her way to becoming an official Dirt Barbie herself) If we get enough responses, the shirts will be made.

Hell yeah I'd wear one!! Size small. Or a fitted medium so it's properly girlie  . Cotton candy pink?? That's Barbie's way. I guess what I'm thinking in my head is a Barbie climbing a rock (especially with those non-bending arms and legs of hers) with dirt and sweat all over her and her perfect hair all mussed up...as well as that perfect non moving Barbie smile from that tilting head of hers.

I've had some luck with artapart.com in making up some t-shirts.. a lot of the online shops have minimum orders, but artapart.com does not (or at least didn't when I made up my climbing t-shirts for myself and my belay partner when she was getting me started. a simple logo on the front and a "Tall Climbers Suck" for hers and a "My Belayer Is Cuter Than Your Belayer" for mine on the back). you can pick any style/color you want, and just provide it with a JPEG for the front/back, etc.. and can make your own, add your own text, etc.. just another possibility...

I would like one in a small if we are talking girl style shirt...like cap sleeves with a tailored waist area....i.e. baby doll tees...or a tank would do to. I'm hip for her having a tat...also! :D Not that i deserve one...i haven't been on the rocks in months...although last time i was......i WAS leading trad. hope that still counts....it better

I'd love a small baby tee. I don't wear pink, but if the design was cool enough I might be able to be convinced. Lavender could be nice too. What a great idea!

I am SO in I never wear pink  - do Dirt Barbies wear pink? but then we are talking Barbie here. I would rather just wear a white shirt - goes with more of my climbing pants! But I don't need to get picky here - this whole Idea is cool You can count me in for 1 small and 2 med/larges gotta set my posse up as well! :D

Oh, Barbie should have a really awesome trad rack...and of course she MUST be on lead  !! Maybe have her placing a piece in some really sketchy crack with that plastic perfect Barbie grin on her face. Or you could do a Big Wall Dirt Barbie...with jumars, aiders, a nice shiny hammer pounding some pins into a wall.

I couldn't agree with you more . . . . both of those ideas would ROCK - and go right along the lines of the "CHICKS WITH PICKS" ice climbing T-shirts that I just love!

I think if the art looks like the mattel barbie doll, I'd get in trouble LOL. Dirt Barbie may still ruffle feathers, but they can live with that. Dirt Barbie is an official trad climbing term hahaha. Remember sport climbers can only be Dust Barbies. Aid climbing girls are just going to be Aids Barbies, uh well maybe not. The response is encouraging, I'm waiting on the art-girl who posesses snail like speed to give up somethng to post.

Lovely idea! Can we the dust barbies get the t-shirt, too? or would that be cheating? :) I will go for tank top or capsleeve/fitted one, both would be good. Definitely not a normal tshirt... I think pink would be great (I dont normally wear it much, but, we are talking about Barbies here) Lavender works too... I think I am a medium.
