How is the valley in Sep ? When does the foliage change there ? First frost ?

Rick,

Sept. is really good in the Valley. I always tell people if you only have one month (or less) to spend in the Valley, go from mid Sept. to mid Oct. because the weather is great. If you can arrange to go during the latter part of Sept., I highly recommend it. Even if you go in early Sept. the weather is still pretty good.

If memory serves the foliage will be changing in October(ish).
