I live on the DC area and am looking for someone to do some sport leads with. I've been climbing since the summer and need some experienced climbers to help me with my confidence on lead outside. Also looking for folks who like to boulder. Email me at mrjjfloyd@yahoo.com

Sounds great! Drop me an email when you get into town - I'm dying to try and get up to Franklin again, but if not there's always Great Falls.

I have everything we need to do some toproping, but it's always nice to have more than one climb. I can probably borrow enough for a second climb, though I might need to scrounge up another static line. [ This Message was edited by: jjfloyd on 2002-02-11 06:49 ]

JJ I have been going to Franklin the last few weekends. I think that the weather is getting better so I am trying to go every weekend. Check out the Adventure school web page and stop in to potomac outdoors and find me there. I am there most days

Hey Red, Where's Potomac outdoors? Do you live in/near DC? I assume you have quickdraws, I have a rope but no quickdraws yet, but I can always borrow!

Hey JJ, Saw your post. Potomac Outdoors is on MacArthur Boulevard in Cabin John, MD, It's really close to D.C., and it's an awesome outdoor store. The people there are nice, and they know what they are talking about. Hope this helps.

Hey, i'll do a little Leading/toprping with ya this weekend (GF or SL Mtn). But I have to work untill noon on Saterday. My friends and I are trying to hone our skills for our climbing trip to Arizona in two weeks, and I'll be on the rocks as much as I can untill I leave. Yea, and i'm going up to Sport rock right now. Let me know, I've got enough gear.
