I just spent some time writing up a tutorial on how to enhance digital images using the Colour (or color for you americans) Curves in Photoshop. The example I used was a rockclimbing photograph, and I think that there are quite a few others on this site who would be interested in the tutorial, since many rockclimbing photgraphs are taken under very difficult lighting conditions.
