Haven't tried them more than a few minutes swing in a shop, but if I was you I'd go check them out. Very nice ballance, very light...very cheap! But like with every axe... go try it! :wink:

i like mine. yes they are cheap but i like the way they work. the only con is the leash. its a pain to get in and out of. they are superlite and they strike well. if you are just starting out, i would recommend them.

If you want to do any drytooling with them (or just tend to abuse picks) they have the cheapest replacement picks around. A definite plus IMO, though I've never tried the tool. What's more, buy the tools and you get decent *looking* 'poons for $20 more! On the downside, we hear they have lousy leashes. Well so does just about every tool out there!
