Was wondering if anyone would be interested in a mini meeting the 4th weekend. Right now its a toss up between the Gunk or Rumney. Jules is looking at campsite near Rumney if anyone is interested please post ....thanks

Mom brings up a good point-- this is both the 4th and a long weekend, so camping will probably suck. I'll still call around, I'm not sure how much luck we'll have.

I've heard talk of a woman in Rumney who lets people camp on her lawn. Does anyone know anything more about this? It sounds like something we ought to look into.

Mom and I will be able to make it regardless, as it's only a forty-five minutes drive, but there'll be no point if no one else is going.

I'll keep y'all updated on what I find out.

I can make it to Rumney then, at least for a day. Kind of depends on which day(s) I have off.

Lakes Region campgrounds

I suppose I'll tackle that after school Monday. I'll call the closer ones first, and work my way out... worst case scenario, we'll be camping half an hour away, or so.

Is price or quality more important?

Hmmm, I just happen to be flying to Toronto on the 2nd (well, it's tentive) But I may be able to take a trip down to NH...i'll have to talk with my old man
