I just moved to Fontainebleau and am super psyched! Curious if anyone has advice about cheap places to eat out and try the French food. Most info is about what guidebook to use, but I need more practical information, like who makes the best quiche!

There's a good pizza place on the side street by the movie theater in town, it's pretty reasonable. Also, up that same street there's a kabob place that's good. Unfortunately, I don't remember their names. As far a guidebooks go, get the one by Bart van Raaj. That's the best and has topos for almost all the areas. I'm returning for a month at the end of August for my fourth trip. You're gonna love it. There's so much bouldering. Hope this helps.
