I was just in the area for some snowboarding. If anyone is looking for a cheap place to stay, I suggest the Mt. View Inn. The guy who manages it is super cool, ice climbs himself and is flexable on rates.

I had planned a 9 day trip to Canmore during that time and didn't even realize this was happening.
Cool but kind of bummer as well. Hopefully they'll all stay in town for the festivities and not swarm the climbs.
Any experience with that Rendog? How are the crowds etc?
