Mechanical Engineering PhD student I have a very flexable schedule....allows for plenty of time to go climbing, and hopefully a few 4 day weekends this summer.

Writer/Mareting Research Analyst/Bouncer I work when I want. As a writer, I make nearly nothing at this point. Bouncing pays okay, but I do it for the free beer more than the 50 a night. The Research pays big time, but it's a lot of work and I only do it as necessary.

You're a cop? Ha! I smoke pot, what are you gonna do about it? And you know what, one time I got pulled over and I had pot right there in my glove box. And I didn't even get a ticket for anything. And everyone drives 80 or over on the freeway, EVERYONE DOES IT. And I hate speedtraps, everytime I see a motorcycle cop waiting around my school to give students a speeding ticket when their going 5 miles over the limit cuz it's heavy traffic anyway. I work as a dishwasher at a Thai restaurant.

Financial Planner. It's a highly underated job for a climber. A major part of my job involves socializing and developing client relationships, and that can be just as easily done at a crag as in a boardroom. And my partners can never bail on roadtrips because I build vacation expenses into their systematic investment strategies. What good is saving $ if you can't keep yourself sane while doing it?
