Anyone want to avoid the crowds at Red Rocks, and head to J Tree? I'll be driving from the Bay Area, probably Thursday night (the 17th) and returning Sunday night (the 20th).

would love a ride to jtree, and of course split the petrol. if you want to go sooner then I'm free all week. I'm somewhere between berkeley and oakland.
see you later, alexis.

jtree will be very busy. i was there yesterday and it's that busy time of year again, sunny and in the 70's. there were cars and people everywhere, however we were able to find places to climb, but the more popular walls/area had plenty of people.

actually this weekend will probably be the best weekend to go to josh. weather looks sunny and warm and a lot of josh climbers will be in red rocks for the rendezvous. i think crackmd is right those of us who do go to josh might see a lighter then usual crowd and have the place to ourselves. i can't wait for the weekend, why is it only monday?
