Anyone want to avoid the crowds at Red Rocks, and head to J Tree? I'll be driving from the Bay Area, probably Thursday night (the 17th) and returning Sunday night (the 20th).

In reply to: Anyone want to avoid the crowds at Red Rocks, and head to J Tree? I'll be driving from the Bay Area, probably Thursday night (the 17th) and returning Sunday night (the 20th). jtree will be very busy. i was there yesterday and it's that busy time of year again, sunny and in the 70's. there were cars and people everywhere, however we were able to find places to climb, but the more popular walls/area had plenty of people.
