If you are on a network and using MS OS, you are shit out of luck. Try creating a roaming profile that locks them OUT of specific abilities.

It's not in my power, anyway. These are clients networks. I only have power over the software we write for them. My point is that some people know ctrl alt del, but don't understand what it does to a database application. And they also use it when it "seems" like something is froze up, even if it isn't or if there's actually nothing wrong, they're just too stupid to realize it. My solution, fix what they just effed up and tell them if they aren't sure, call me first. end rant

naw, it doesn't come with the base install of windows. C:\>which fdisk fdisk: C:\> I checked both win-xp and win-2k. Perhaps the older releases?

It was most certainly part of the underlying DOS system with the earlier versions of Windows. Still to this day though, whenever I setup a new system, I always lay down a DOS level first, because you'll always have a back door if you do! :wink:
