The silhouettes aren't immediately identifiable (to me) as human. They look kinda alien and forboding... like they're coming to get you.

I'd like to see more of the scenery. Morning light is special. But what is it lighting?

Alien and forboding huh? Interesting... I never saw it like that. I think it just looks like two people in jackets and one has a pack.
Morning light is special. This is more of a twist on the portrait shot rather than the landscape, but I agree, more scenery would be cool. Unfortunately, there's not really much more to it than this. I cropped some ground out, but it was mostly black and uninteresting.

my first thought was nomadic desert guides of somesort. Might have to do with the colour. Forboarding would be my feeling as well.
