Does anyone know if the Madrock Loco's stretch much? I just got mine in at my street shoe size and they are super tight. So tight it hurts. I had heard of someone taking a shower with thiers and them feeling better. Advice?

I tried a pair of those for about a month (rather than spending the bucks for 5.10 Anasazi Velcro.) Never fit me well, never stretched but I have a pretty wide foot. Went and got the AV's after all. Lived happily ever after -s

I'm pretty sure that they are synthetic and I know that they are lined. Those babies aren't going to strech. I got mine half a size bigger than my street size and they hurt for a long time. They are just now feeling "comfy".

my buddy and i have had our loco's for about 6 months of serious bouldering and no sign of stretching.....i suggest you man up and climb till your fingers hurt more than your shoes then you dont have to worry about your feet anymore!!!!!!

I had heard of someone taking a shower with thiers and them feeling better. Advice? The most they'll stretch is to conform to the minor contours of your foot. However, the locos are VERY agressive shoes designed for hard bouldering and sport climbing. All day comfort really shouldn't be a concern. If you can't climb with them at all then they are too tight, but aside from that you should be fine. /knows 4 or 5 people with Locos, all report pain, all climb harder since purchasing them

John Bachar: "You'll climb better if your shoes are comfortable." Synthetics shoes don't stretch much. Lined shoes don't stretch much. Synthetic, lined shoes stretch even less. When you buy shoes don't count on them stretching to be comfortable. Unless you want hammertoes and a hefty pediatrist bill...
