I am real close in purchasing a new Revolutions AK Crash Pad and I was wondering if anyone who owns a revolution crash pad care to share their feelings and experience with thier pad? Plus I was wondering how durable and reliable are the new velcro closing flaps?

i've had a revolution pad for just under a year and its held up as well as any other pad on the market. the velcro flaps work much better than the buckles in my opinion. i can hold just as much stuff as my other pads. i definitely reccomend getting one. i've had no problems at all. steve

I've been using the Revolution 12 gauge for about a month or so and its great for highballs or times I don't have a spot, cause its just huge. Its heavier than the AK pad, but for the extra thickness its worth it on short approaches. The velcro seems to be bomber although it picks up a few bits of leaves, dead grass or whatever, but velcro's so wide, I don't think it'll matter in the long run.

I got the 12 gauge from the crew at Boulderingpads.com. I picked it up when they had a special, but they sell the AK for about what everyone else sells them for. Boulderpads.com seems to be a good company with quality people behind it. Free shipping too.
