I'm a climber from Oregon working as a climbing instuctor at a summer camp. However, i don't know anyone out here and Im looking for a partner. I can lead upper 11s (sport) and follow mid 12s, as far as gear goes, 10s (lead). Up for any type of climbing.

Im at Tripp Lake Camp in Polland Maine. Its a short drive from Portland. I do a lot of sport; I usually climb at Smith Rock in Oregon, which has 1,500+ sport routes.

Shag Crag is a nice place to sport climb. Not as many routes as Smith Rock, but still fun. It's a bit of a trip from portland though. Be glad to take you there.

I am going to be in Maine from June 29 - July 6th. I am hoping to climb while I am there. I will be flying into Portland and will be headed North. I hope to climb at Acadia. I am looking for climbing partners. I am mainly a sport climber (can lead 5.10) can second trad but am not comfortable leading. If you know anyone who is going to be climbing during this time period, let me know.

Maine is very big on the bouldering side. We do have an amazing sport and trad location database and many good climbs in and around Acadia. But there are plenty of places to do whatever. Just ask around with the locals, visit the Portland gym along with a smaller gym in Bethel.

If your at Trip Lake Camp New Hampshire might give you some better luck. If your used to Idaho I think it was, Maine is going to be a bit of a let down.
