First of all... glad to see that you're not dead... which is what crossed my mind when I saw your name on the homepage.
In reply to: It just occurred to me that I have no pictures of myself leading on gear. :( ...I have a couple shots of you leading gear at Seneca... if I can find them I'll send them to you.

CB22 helped bulk up my rack back a few years ago when we climbed at J-Tree. Christa, do you remember that you borrowed a 3.5 camalot from some dudes camped next door to us? well, they bailed and i'm still running the #3.5. thanks betty for the extra "piece".

No, I don't remember that. But hey, glad I could help you out! This is funny, it feels like an epsiode of "this is your life" where friends, old climbing partners, etc. drop by to say something.

In reply to: I never got that.. what makes Mac so evil? Actually, I don't know either. She's not really evil. If anything, Mac's thingy-bob should say "not as evil as climbsomething."

Alright! A thread about climbingbetty22 or better known as "H.W." Eh, I'll save the usual sexual harassment for when I see her in person

In reply to: If anything, Mac's thingy-bob should say "not as evil as climbsomething." Girls have "thingy-bobs"? And they talk? Must be one of those battery-operated thingy-bobs, or would that be a "thingy-bot"? -Jay

In reply to: how does one get a rate button? Mysterious disembodied souls embedded forever in the internet come during the wee hours of morning and pass out rate buttons to all the good little posters. A real answer can be found in the FAQ's, which are accessed by clicking "Help" on the menu bar at the top of the screen. EDIT: Perhaps I spoke too soon. I don't seem to see it in the FAQ's after all. Anyway, a certain percentage of the members on the site recieve a rate button each day. Who gets them is random, I believe. Be patient and you'll get one. For some reason, I've gotten them a lot lately, no idea why. -YoCO

The way one gets a "rate" button is by having other people - who already have rate buttons - rate the posts they make highly. The more highly rated posts one gathers, the more often they are given the...priveldge....of being allowed to rate posts. I get to rate posts about every other day, but I never use it. I will gladly hand out gold Trophies or Poop Trophies for those who are without the ability to do so. Probaly tomorrow will be a rate day for me; if not, Friday for sure. But it will cost you...... what, I don't know.....make an offer, I suppose.
