hey all! Well, I just signed my first lease and made it official....I'm moving to Chattanooga for Grad school this fall! :D Gotta run back and forth a few more times, but starting this weekend I am be looking for some people to start climbing with. Free just about ever weekend, and maybe some weekdays too once I get settled in.

I have rope(s) and rack(s) and am looking to climb (mostly) trad at places like Sunset and Tennesee Wall and any other area crags someone wants to impress me  I can lead up to 5.11 (a-ish), but like any type of climbing --grades not important, but having fun and good people is. Bouldering too but I sux at it so is not something I aim to do anymore....just wanna use some ropes these days.

Mostly I want to find someone swap leading routes in the 5.8 and up range aND MAYBE BUILD LONGER TERM PARTNERSHIPS...

thanks,

jeff

still looking.

Also: willing to climb with novices and newbies so long as they have some sense of self -preservation and basic knowledge of belaying safely, breaking down anchors and rappelling....so don't be shy...I don't need to climb harder routes to have fun!

I live about 60 minutes west of Chatt (Manchester) but I'd be willing to try. I'm a complete newb to outdoor climbing and not exactly experienced when it comes to indoor climbing as I can't even lead yet (haven't taken the class as I'm not confident in it).

1. What is TBA? And where is it? I will send a PM to you....

2. I checked out that other site and it is good, but there is never any action getting a partner there. This site seems so much larger and better for finding people.

3. New climbers are no problem! So long as you have harness, shoes, a belay device and some idea how to use them, we can make it work and have a great time!
