My favorite from this summer working as a climbing director at a boyscout camp when someone says "off belay" at the top of a route and they aren't tied in to anything else:
"I can't let you do that, we don't have any more body bags"

I had a buddy that would tell me," If you die, you're too heavy to carry out, so I'm taking your gear and tossing you in the lake" I found it to be motivating

motto (noun):
