I think the players should strike. They get more money and they don't interrupt Futurama anymore. At least let it finish up it's last season in peace.

anne: there aren't many more ways you can impress me. first it was beer, then cigars, then wine, then scotch, and now football?!! ahh, the finer things in life i would have to say the cowboys are going to the superbowl (i was born in Dallas and you know i'm not bandwagon if i'm still rooting for them). actually i think it will be Philidelphia and Tennessee. even though i don't like philly (although i like the name )

Green Bay Packers: Good season, bad finish. Roster has greatly improved. The best QB in the league has finally got some receivers to go to for the first time in six years and the defense will look similar to the Ravens. Patriots: Have a chance, good Cinderella season. Smart move, dumping Bledsoe. Steelers: Have slim chance, but a chance nevertheless. Most games were won marginally and they still need a QB. Rams: Though I wish people would realize that Kurt Warner really isn't a good QB, they still have a good chance. If their defense can pull off the miracle, as they did in about four of their regular season games, and play, they shouldn't have a problem. Dolphins: Have a chance if they get organized. Eagles: Most likely not. However, slim. Whole program still needs a lot of work, but once they do....Oh! Boy! Browns: Okay, stop laughing. Slimmest chance of all, but... If they can pull together as they did (can't remember if it was the first or last half of the season) and keep the ball rolling, 23-20 is still a win. Defense needs improvement (linebackers and corners for sure) and a running back would be a great idea for them considering they haven't drafted or signed one that can run the damn ball since their rebirth. Hate to say it, but... Bears: Their season was lucky at best, and any real football fan that actually knows how the game is played (which is unusal in football fans) knows this. They had two freakish wins in overtime. The defense is very solid, outside of cornerbacks. There is only one real receiver (Robinson) and no QB. Bears fans know this. The team needs a QB that can throw the skin and, frankly, their runningback is WAY overrated as a half way decent defensive line can stuff him all day. Also, partly because the Bears could use a few key offensive linemen. They had a good season, I was impressed. The program is coming around. Hey, better the Bears than the Vikings. Sorry MN natives, but your team, and especially the attitudes, suck. Moss should be thrown into a pool of hungry sharks for screwing Dennis Green, one of the nicest and best coaches the NFL has. Carter=whinner. Defense, there is none and Culpepper would be better suited as a linebacker or a fullback as he will never really be a good QB. He should lose his spot to the gentleman that finished the season (name escapes me). Okay. Sorry. Enough football rant! Good luck to all and their favorite team this coming season. Its going to be a doosy! Steve

Hey, My Packers will kick your Steelers butts any day lady! My picks. Before the season starts? Well, you can't do that effectively, so I'll guess based on last year. NFC: Rams (dammit) AFC: Too up in the air. And listen, you! You go to the Red wine thing and post "I'm sorry to Steve for making fun of is piss poor typing abilities and even bigger lack of spelling"! So I spelled the wines wrong and yes, I will choose Italian wines all day. The French still don't make a wine that can beat an Italian wine. Anybody guess I'm a WOP yet? Steve

Well, I thouroughly enjoy my Wisconsin Badgers (the best team in the Big 10) man handling your Mittany (sp?) Lions. HA! Give Paterno a break. He is awesome. Great coach. Never doubt one of the most winningest coaches in NCAA history! He still has juice in him and he can still lead Penn somewhere. Just not through the Badgers! Steve

anne: you know, i lived through the horrendous rebuilding decade of the 80's and i'll do it agian with the 0's. let it be know (to clear up any bandwagon misconceptions) that i was a fan when Danny White was the qb (although a better punter than a qb),when dorsett and walker were the Rb's and when Ed "Too Tall" jones ran the d. again, to back up my claim as a TRUE fan, I WAS BORN IN DALLAS. BTW Anne: never a hostile thought within me when replying to you:)
