I like your style. Hell, I'll climb with whatever I have on. Between the 3 of us that go climbing regularly we don't have that much organization. A suggestion of climbing is usually enough to get us outside. I guess I should keep a set of climbing clothes in the trunk with my rack.

Dude, i hear that. If your ever down in Portland, Oregon, let me know man, I would love to some crack in tight acid wash. Or even better, we could climb ass naked. I've done it, the harness dosent chaif that bad, i swear, try it. I've got co-workers who have climbed in Crocks, and I thought my uncles 12 year old pair of LaSportivas where bad. Ha! You can climb in anything. Besides, isnt this susposed to be a weird, quarky sport anyway? The further from Pada-guchi the better as far as I am concerned. And nothing against Padagonia by the way, except for it being over priced.

I find a kilt really frees things up...but this only works for soloing. I thought about it for bouldering but one would spot me...

I have done a few fun ones. I climbed in a tootoo once and as superman. I have had a few fun partners. My favorite, one that I have done more than once, is climb in a black nija costume. It makes me feel like I can run up the rock, I'll post some pictures soon. You Utah climbers, give me a call, I'd love to do some themed asents too

I've recently aquired a powder blue searsucker suit that would be just smashing at the crag. ususally I prefer tighty whities and union suits, but I think it really is time to bring a little Hamptons lifestyle to mountains.

Seeing people where spandex, costumes or nothing at all can be a little humorous. But when I see people wearing Umbros shorts, a line must be drawn. Those things are a little too short for grown men to be wearing with a harness! No need to catch a glimpse of something that wasn't meant to be seen at that particular moment.

Hello All, I have a Halloween party to go to at the crag and need some suggestions. I thought of a kilt, but my belayer may not agree. I may go as a 6'4" tall oompa loompa. From the original movie of course. Buttless chaps and a harness is a close second, but I got pimples on me ass! Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated, Marc

In reply to: This is just something I was thinking about ,kinda goofy, but have you ever seen someone wear krap that they should have left at home? I know what you mean. Every time I go climbing I see women all covered up. I mean how do they expect to reach there climbing potential with all that constrictive clothing. LEAVE IT AT HOME.
