sooo after a few years of climbing on and off i've finally led! i'm so incredibly stoked!!! i've been working out a lot, i feel so good, i wish it wasn't stormy up there, we'd still be in the mountains.
i lead a two pitch 5.5 at donner summit in tahoe california- pretty fucking gorgeous! i'm unbelievable stoked and i felt a LOT more comfortable on lead than i do following. when i got to the top of the first pitch it was like, i did it! i finally lead and this fact cannot be changed. and i feel different than i did yesterday! hee hee, i really AM stronger than yesterday- RAD! all the practice and hard work (i'd gotten out of shape but i've been working out steadily for the last few months) finally paid off!!!
thanks to anyone and everyone out there who ever gave me beta, tips, or lead me up stuff. this is not to say i probably won't be a slow leader for awhile! but who cares! the sharp end is muy fun i LOVE IT. WOOOT!
