After I find a new home in NYC, I'm off on a 1.5 month roadtrip through Tuolumne and the Valley, leaving the east coast on 8/15! A whole month in the center of the climbing universe. So here it is....
I'm going to solo a Grade V wall! I'm going to wait and see what's available with the least crowds but possibilities include the West Face of Leaning Tower, Wet Denim Daydream, The Prow, and Zodiac (I know it's a VI). If I can muster up some gigantic cajones, I might just do the North America Wall. I don't know if it would be a repeat of Ammon's record since I soloed a grade III, but it would be sort of close I guess. If anyone will be in the valley during September, look me up if you want to hit the big stone. I'll have a sign on the bulletin board with my name and site number.
