Hi guys im looking for info about Devils tower and Ouray Colorado in January 2006 Where to stay?(something cheap) Where to eat? guides? any restrictions? etc etc any suggestions are welcome .

devils tower in january is a bad idea. most of the time it will be cold and snowy.

http://www.devilstowerlodge.com/ Talk to Frank Sanders, he's the owner of the place and a great guy. He is also a climbing Guide. Otherwise near DT is a KOA campground, I don't know if they are open in January. Weather at DT on 1-6-05, just for reference. High: 8° F low: -4° F source

I've climbed there on January 4th before, but yes, it does get cold. I'd go for a different month.

i aided walt bailey during december once. the crux was the approach - i needed ice axes and crampons to get up the ramp, and i was fairly terrified. maybe if you are a local you can sneak out to the tower during a freak warm streak, but planning a trip there in january is madness.
