Slacklining won't really help you loose weight.

Slacklining is when 1" tubular webbing is strung between two points and a person walks from one point to the other. Like a tightrope walker, but the webbing is loose.

What does slacklining have to do with loosing weight?

I guess it might work but there are better ways. Slacklining is very good for balance and movement but that is about all, imo.

Slacklining is not for fat folks, if the rolls shift, off tubby goes

Sorry that was a must but seriously slacklining is walking on climbing webbing

Come on now, sparky! I can slackline a little bit and my big 'ol tubby tummy doesn't do me no harm!

Besides, it gives me a lower center of gravity!

This actually reminds me of my desire to try slacklining, thanks! Question to add though: when cinching the webbing, how tight should it be? I've got a couple trees in the backyard picked out for this but does it require any special gear to pull the webbing taught? Thanks!

Or you could PM me if you have any other questions...
I have this slackling thing pretty well figured out, and have written a few different posts about it.

I cant do $h!7 on the slackline, but a friend of mine (who powers off v9's in the gym, 5.11b/c on TR) has a 25/30ft. slackline in his front yard. He hangs upside down on it and stands up on it from that position. It is really cool just don't let the family jewels get caught in the middle when you fall Also it is really good for balance and leg strength; it is harder than you think!
