I'm not kidding. I mean when I have to think really hard or have to follow really devious lines of reasoning there's an acompanying feeling of pain that is very subtle. If I ignore it and keep doing what I'm doing I get headaches for a few days - sometimes for over a week. I think there is some truth that in that expression or joke "it hurts when I think." I can't be alone in this.

Yeah, I've felt that way. Usually after finals week. Most notably was after taking my bored exams. 4 exams, 110 questions each on Anatomy, Spinal Anatomy, physiology and biochemistry in one day. Had to take two more the next day too. I had a headache for 4 days.

I don't know bro, I mean coffee (for me) exasperates the pain. when the pain starts to come I can't sleep. I think I'm so tired that I get a surge of adrenaline when I need sleep the most to rest the brain. It hurts on my left side. I also have labrynthitus also so I get vertigo. The doctors know little about it and they've only given me wrong in advice. I have it now so I"m just laying off reading heavy stuff and posting on this forum a lot till I get better.

Dude, that's only going to make you're headache worse.

hmm..I'm not sure if I should feel supreme shame and humilation at having my own vanity pointed out to me like that especially where it's possible that many might see. but this is just an internet forum and you guys are a bunch of abstractions (no offense) so maybe I'll just wait for this thread to die and get buried and just move on. tempted to say "quality what quality?" but then I'd probably go up a notch from being vain to contemptible....

just to clarify by "vanity" I meant I haven't considered the reading but only the writing involved. Kinda vain not to consider thoughts of others.
