After a long day of climbing, or when I nail a route or ascent, I enjoy a good smoke. Tradition really. Sometimes I carry up a roll and matches in my sleeve at the end of a climb and usually I talk smack to the rock like I just owned it.Thats it. What do you guys do if anything? Curious.

interesting. There's nothing like celebrating great climbing days with a cigar. I don't smoke regularly, so its always a treat. Doesn't have to be an expensive one, but there's nothing like taking 30 minutes to burn a nice churchhill, unwinding and reflecting on the day. I don't talk smack like I p0wned the rock, though. I prefer to think fondly of the moves it afforded me, like we'd danced in unison to make sweet, sweet love. mingleefu's a cuddler.

Drink a nice cold beer and have a good hot meal. especally in the winter after a long day a few cold ones and some good conversation seem to warm the soul. 8^)

It has become sort of tradition for me and km to sit on top of the rims in billings after climbing, and smoke our pipes. tobacco that is. it's a good way to end a good day of climbing, and it's really relaxing too.

In reply to: p0wned mingleefu's a cuddler. to the OP, Usually I celebrate with a big smile and some words with my partner. Usually a handshake/hug. mingleefu, the proper spelling of this word is pnw3d, jeez!!. AFAIK, the origins are counter strike when someone types owned too quickly and messes up the spelling.   lol :D Brent

its all about the kicking back, taking it easy w/ whoever youve climbed with that day, and swilling something big like a red zin, shiraz, or something along those lines.

Most of the time, it ends with a several mile hike, after which I most definitely crave a beer (followed by many, many more) and a braut. Ahhhh, life is gooooooood. 8^)

sit around the fire with the rest of the crew, drinking wine, playing guitar and singing while watching the stars come out. the desert is particularly good for shooting stars. that just plain rocks...

The Last thing I want to do after a long day of climbing, is come across someone "sexing a chick on a crashpad under their sick proj" ... yo? It seems that there is a general consensus of:
smoking (whatever) sex food drinking http://www.webtender.com/...images/yukonjack.gif Yukon Jack.. I understand, (some strange Canadian version of Jack Daniels) But I am at a loss as to what "Skin Up" is? or do I really want to know?

obviously you have to be in the right area for this one, but after a day of climbing ... i enjoy going to miguel's pizza (at the red) to get some of the best pizza ever. i then wash my pizza down with a few cold beers, sit around the fire, play a little guitar, and talk to the other climbers. maybe i'll end the night with a drunken slack line. got to bed wake up repeat

It all depends on what I've climbed. Alpine route with long approach. . .smoke a bowl before the long hike out and then when I get home, I like to fall into my couch and wrap myself up in 2 sleeping bags with my dog curled up beside me. I don't even bother with a shower until the next morning. Day of ice climbing. . .shots of fine tequila in the back of my partners truck Full day of cragging or local multi-pitch. . .trundaling and food. :) Seems like my full climbing days always end with me passing out on my couch. Then again, days where I don't climb end in that fashion too lately.
